[PT]Close to a stream and natural sparkling water spring source (drinkable) we will begin our hike through a dense Japanese cedar tree forest onto the top and edge of the lake crater. The next section will take us winding down a deep canyon until we meet the water. After a light meal its time to hike up the north face of the crater overlooking the lake in one side and city of Ribeira Grande with the ocean by its side. Continue through the crater rim and than descend back to Lombadas starting point.
