After briefed and bike set up, its time to pedal to Sete Cidades volcano crater through a big variety of sceneries such as arid red gravel mountains, stunning green lush surroundings, ocean views, lots of cows and all in smooth well paved routes. Once reaching the top at 770m/2526ft and enjoying the bird´s eye views, it’s time to drop down inside the volcano to discover the Santiago and Sete Cidade`s Green and Blue lakes. At the heart of the Village or by the lake side we will have a delicious reinforcement light meal.
After a short climb off the Volcano or a short transfer to the hill top, we will bike the West end of the Island and bike back by the North high seashores roads, where the ocean blue combined with the rural areas will enchant the afternoon. You can opt to take the van back after light meal and do some site seeing instead.
