[PT]Lagoa do Fogo, considered one of the seven wonders of Portugal, offers a multitude of hiking possibilities. The half-day will take us on a linear trail exploring the shores of the lake. The half-day plus starts on the south side of the crater going up through pastures of lush green grass and patches of endemic forest until we reach the waters of the lake and on the way down we follow an old water path, complemented with stunning views of the south shore. Starting on the north side, the full-day program, will get you deep into valleys filled with lush endemic flora and through woods of Japanese cedar, ultimately leading to the clear waters of Lagoa do Fogo lake.
